I'm Netflixin' it still- there's season 1, then 2, then 2.5 right? I'm not skipping a "season 1.5" am I?

And So Say All of Us!

Personally, I couldn't wait for shoddy netflix after I watched the mini-series.
Season 1 DVD box set: $49
Season 2.0 and 2.5 on iTunes: $25
A/V adapter so I could hook up my iPod to my iTV: $25
Season 3 pass on iTunes: $35
Getting to find out right now who the remaining cylons are: Priceless
There are some things money can't buy, for good science fiction Aaroneous will forgo rent.

Yeah, I got a mortgage, so I skipped the expensive route so the mean men wouldn't come and take my TV away.

Dude - I have all of Season 1 and mini-series in a box set. Yours to borrow for the asking. My b-day's coming up, so I'm thinking Season 2 (all of it) may be coming my way. No guarantees on that, though.
So say we all.

I've already got Season 2 discs 2 & 3 at home, so I'll be up to Season 3 in very little time. I'm in no rush.

Sad news for BG fans: Stars Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica told The IESB at the Saturn Awards Thursday night that the SciFi Channel will officially pull the plug on the show following its fourth season, which begins in January. Olmos says "This will probably be the most extraordinary season of 'Battlestar'. It's the final season, so it's definitely going to be the most vicious. As far as we know, in respects of the way we have this show constructed, this is the final season." Sackhoff says "I think part of the problem is that it's an expensive show. It is , but we don't have the viewership that a great show should get."

I think ending it is great. I mean, with enough planning it will have an astounding finale.
Also, on the everything is about improv tip...
Edward James Olmos IMPROVISED that tag line of "So Say We All" and now that's their version of "amen." Go Team Improv!

I don't think it's really sad news. I mean, I love the show, but I've seen good shows die long slow deaths of suck because they tried to string it out. I'd rather them know they've got one season, then really bring it home.
Something like this, plus the fixed ending date of Lost, hopefully, will help bring about a new norm in serial television programming.
